Clothes! yay!
Before you start, you will need the following:
*Some kind of image editor- I recommend Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 but MS Paint will do.
*LNZ Pro- download here- http://sherlocksoftware.org/page.php?id=14
*& as always, some creativity!

Step 1- the image
OK, first off, open up your image editor and make a bitmap for your new clothing. Or, if you prefer to use a game texture, you can just skip this part altogether and move onto LNZ Pro. :) Some sites have clothing bitmaps you can download. Remember your bitmap will have to be saved in 256 colours or it will not show up properly in the game! It also must be saved as a windows bitmap (.bmp) and not any other image format (.png, .gif, .jpg, etc).
If you like, you can use this one here- it is already in 256 colours.

Also note that the texture you make will be repeated on the clothing, and doesn't need to be that big- around 30x30 pixels is fine. :)

Step 2- LNZ Pro
So, you've got your bitmap saved, that's great! There are two ways you can do the next part-- you can save the bitmap stright into the clothes folder, if you prefer, but I prefer doing it another way.
Open up LNZ Pro. go to file>open, and navigate to the clothes folder, usually at c/program files/mindscape/babyz/resource/clothes. Find the item of clothing you want to hex from, right click on it and select copy. Now right click on a space in the folder and select paste. For this example I am hexing from the Pink Bubbles T-shirt. Rename 'Copy of Pink Bubbles TShirt.clo' to whatever your clothing will be called. Remember to keep the .clo extension there, or the game won't recognise it.

Now double click on your renamed file to open it. Right click on the left pane and select 'Add Resource', click browse, and select the bitmap you saved earlier. Double click on it, and then select create. Now your clothing has the bitmap embedded into the file, which means you don't have to clutter your clothes folder with bitmaps. :)
Note that if you are using a game texture, you can ignore that part and just start with the ID number and everything which follows.

Now select RCData, and change the Breed ID (as hex) to something unique. It is also a good idea to make a note of the ID numbers you have already used as you cannot use the same ID number twice.

Now click on CLZ. Where you see this-

Change BubblesP to whatever you called your bitmap, so for example you may have \art\AutoBuild\blueredpolka.bmp.
Save (ctrl + s) and close LNZ Pro. And that is it! You can also fiddle around with the CLZ section a bit more, change numbers, experiment, but you can work that out for yourself. If you want the outfit to show up as itself in the closet, you will have to use tinker to change the 'away' filmstrip, but this is not required for the clothes to work. Your new clothing will show up as whatever you hexed it from. If it doesn't show up, try closing and re-opening the game, or going back into LNZ Pro and changing the ID number again. You may need to change the ID number several times, depending on how much hexed clothing you have in your game already.

I hope this helped you! If I missed anything out, let me know, or if you did successfully hex from this, tell me! :D

This is Ekko Cleva wearing the example T Shirt, click on the picture to download it. Shows up as the Pink Bubbles T Shirt, cause I was too lazy to tinker it. :P
